Long Burn Bark Briquettes are dense, slow-burning briquettes made from 100% softwood bark. They are intended for extended, steady heat and reduced refuelling compared with faster-burning wood fuels. Supplied in practical 10kg plastic bags for easier handling and dry storage.

How to use

Build a hot bed of embers using your usual fuel, open the airflow and place a small number of briquettes onto the established fire. Once the briquettes are burning correctly, reduce the air supply gradually in line with the appliance manufacturer’s instructions. Do not completely shut off the airflow. Actual burn time will vary with appliance type, chimney draw, loading and air setting.

Storage

Store the bags in a dry, covered place and protect them from rain, standing water and prolonged damp conditions. Reseal or protect opened bags where possible.
