1. Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. Consumer rights described in these terms apply to individuals acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Business customers may be subject to separately agreed trade terms.

2. Products and availability

Product photographs, dimensions, colours and descriptions are provided to help you choose. Natural timber, stone, fuel and similar materials can vary in colour, grain, texture and dimensions within reasonable manufacturing tolerances. All goods are subject to availability. We may correct genuine website errors and will contact you if an error materially affects your order.

3. Orders and contract formation

Submitting an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we accept the order and send an order confirmation or otherwise confirm acceptance. We may refuse or cancel an order before acceptance where, for example, stock is unavailable, payment is not authorised, a delivery address cannot be serviced, or an obvious pricing or description error has occurred. Any payment taken for an order we do not accept will be refunded.

4. Prices, VAT and payment

Prices and any delivery charges payable by a consumer are presented so that the total payable, including applicable VAT, is available before the order is placed. Some trade-oriented product information may also show an ex-VAT price for reference. Different VAT rates can apply to different product categories.

Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may include PayPal/card or eligible wallet payments, Klarna and direct bank transfer. Payment availability can depend on order value, eligibility and the payment provider. We do not store complete payment-card credentials entered into third-party payment-provider systems.

5. Delivery

Delivery charges and available services depend on postcode, product, access and vehicle requirements. Pallet deliveries are normally kerbside to a safe, level hard-standing area. You are responsible for telling us about relevant access restrictions before dispatch. Please read our Delivery Information page, which forms part of these terms.

Unless another period has been agreed, consumer goods will be delivered without undue delay and within the time required by applicable distance-selling law.

6. Large and made-to-order products

Hot tubs, saunas, garden buildings and other large products may be manufactured, configured or finished to order. Your written quotation, product configuration and order confirmation will state the agreed specification. Please check dimensions, heater type, glazing, finish, access and delivery requirements carefully before confirming a customised order.

7. Cancellation and returns

Consumers buying standard goods online normally have a 14-day cancellation period after delivery. Important exceptions apply, including goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. Full details are set out in our Returns & Cancellations policy. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights for faulty or misdescribed goods.

8. Risk and ownership

Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or to a person you nominate to receive them. Ownership does not pass until we have received full payment for the goods.

9. Product installation, use and maintenance

You are responsible for using and maintaining products in accordance with supplied instructions and for ensuring that any site preparation, electrical work, flue work, foundations, drainage or other third-party work complies with applicable requirements. Where installation is expressly included in your order, we are responsible for the installation work we have agreed to provide. Product-specific guarantees are additional to, and do not replace, statutory consumer rights.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable consequences of our breach. Different limitations may apply to business customers under separately agreed trade terms.

11. Events outside reasonable control

If an event outside our reasonable control delays performance, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and will contact you where appropriate. Your mandatory rights, including relevant rights concerning excessive delivery delay or cancellation, are unaffected.

12. Privacy

We process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

13. Complaints and governing law

Please contact info@hsfuels.co.uk first if you have a complaint so we can try to resolve it promptly.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Northern Ireland. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction, you retain any mandatory protections and court rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Model cancellation notice

To cancel an eligible consumer order, email info@hsfuels.co.uk and state your name, order number, the goods you wish to cancel, the date ordered/received and your contact details. A clear statement is sufficient; you do not have to use a particular form.
