Why a barrel sauna?

The curved barrel shape keeps the heated space compact and encourages natural air circulation, helping the room feel even and comfortable. Different lengths let you choose between a compact garden sauna, extra bench space, a sheltered porch or a separate changing area without changing the character of the design.

Why choose Thermowood?

Thermowood is timber that has been heat-modified to reduce moisture movement and improve dimensional stability. It has a deeper, more premium colour and is a strong choice for customers who want lower movement outdoors and a refined finish. It is still a natural timber product and normal exterior care is recommended.

Compared with our Pine version, Thermowood costs more but offers improved stability and a darker premium appearance.

Typical warm-up time

With the included 9kW electric heater, a typical barrel sauna can be ready in roughly 45-75 minutes in moderate conditions. Very cold weather, extensive glazing, frequent door opening and the largest full-depth layouts can extend this towards 60-90 minutes. These are practical guide times rather than a guarantee; actual warm-up depends on the enclosed sauna volume, outside temperature, ventilation, heater stones and chosen layout.

Our barrel sauna range is European-made in Lithuania and is available in multiple lengths with optional porches, changing-room layouts and either electric or wood-fired heating. The design combines the traditional round barrel form with comfortable benches and modern glazing choices for gardens, holiday accommodation and outdoor wellness spaces.

Choose your layout

• Full-depth sauna: the full selected length is used as enclosed sauna space.
• 50cm external porch: available from 2.5m upwards at no extra charge and built within the selected overall length.
• 1m changing room: available with the 3.5m model and built within the selected overall length.
• 2m changing room: available with the 5.0m model and built within the selected overall length.
